Small Quiet Things is a home for the kinds of stories that don’t always get told—the strange ones, the still ones, the ones that grow slowly beneath the surface.

I craft fiction that lives somewhere between literary and speculative. Some stories are short. Some are long. Some have endings that answer nothing. Most are about memory, grief, silence, and the things we bury to stay functional. All of them are rooted in attention.

I’m a writer and illustrator based in upstate New York. I’ve been a printmaker, a stay-at-home dad, a design studio dropout, and a quiet observer of the weird ways people try to stay okay. Most of that finds its way into the work, eventually.

You won’t find hot takes here. No trending topics. Just quiet fiction that tries to feel honest.
